Driving in Germany
Driving in Germany is a great way to get around the country. Germany, like the rest of continental Europe, drives on the right-hand side. (In Europe, only the British Isles and Gibraltar drive on the left-hand side.)
Fuel Card Information
One fuel card will be provided per car. Fuel cards will be issued at the VCT office and can be used only at the authorized fuel stations.In Papenburg, please go to one of these locations:

For Wismar, please refer to the information sheet that was provided with your vehicle. Petrol Stations must have the DKV logo to use company fuel card.
Fuel Refill Process
- Select Fuel Type – Choose the appropriate diesel or petrol for the vehicle.
- Payment at Cashier – Head to the cashier and use the assigned Fuel Card for payment.
- Enter PIN – Input the PIN 2410 to authorize the transaction.
- Complete Transaction – Ensure payment is processed and take any relevant receipts if needed.
Car Wash Process
- Choose Wash Option – Select your preferred wash type: Basic or Extra.
- Payment with Fuel Card – Pay using the Fuel Card and enter PIN 2410 to authorize payment.
- Obtain Receipt with QR Code – Ensure you receive a receipt with a QR Code for entry.
- Proceed to Entrance – Drive to the car wash entrance and scan the QR Code to open the car wash door.
- Park Vehicle – Drive inside and park accordingly within the designated space.
- Start Wash – Exit the compartment and press “START” to begin the wash process.
- Wait for Completion – The car wash will take 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the option chosen.
- Exit Upon Green Light – The compartment door will open automatically once the wash is complete. Wait for the green light before proceeding to retrieve the car.
- Vacuum Option (Optional) – If needed, you may use the vacuum by inserting either 50 cents or 1 € coin.
🚗 Voilà! The process is complete, and the vehicle is ready to go.
