Vaccinations
Flu Vaccine Requirement
• Flu vaccine: As a condition of employment, all shipboard Crew will receive an Influenza or flu vaccination upon embarkation, as needed, during flu season (generally September – March).
COVID-19 Vaccine Resources
In line with the continued guidance of the CDC, it is recommended that all crew members are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and remain up to date with the latest booster.
According to the U.S. CDC and the World Health Organization (WHO), COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective in preventing severe illness from COVID-19. Check the World Health Organization (WHO) site for a list of vaccines against COVID-19 that have met the necessary criteria for safety and efficacy. If you have further questions regarding your COVID-19 vaccination(s), please email DCL-Crew.Medical.Services@Disney.com.
COVID-19 Testing
COVID-19 testing prior to traveling for a contract is not required by Disney Cruise Line; however, Crew are encouraged to check with their airline and destination’s embassy to confirm if health information, departure testing, or other documents specific to their nationality are required to board their flight and successfully arrive at their final destination without travel interruptions or delays.
Onboard testing frequency for COVID-19 may vary by ship, role, and/or other influencing factors that are subject to change.
Face Coverings
The requirement to wear a facial covering for Guests and Crew will be based upon ship and/or itinerary. Requirements will also be influenced by current health advisories. All Crew must be receptive to wearing a facial covering if/when required. These measures are subject to change and will continue to be evaluated and evolve.
